It’s been several months since I solo traveled around Europe, so here are the top places that I recommend visiting, complete with my experience, helpful advice, and things to see. From the first-time solo traveler to the third-time solo traveler, these places are best for an amazing holiday.

1. Amsterdam, Netherlands 

Amsterdam is one of the best places to solo travel in Europe because of the beauty of the city, the local culture, and the friendly people. The city is small and very accessible because of the efficient and effective rail means of transport. 

What to Do: 

Explore the Canals: The other important thing that is necessary in Amsterdam is renting a bike. Cycling along the canals, lovely neighborhoods, old architecture, and cafes are among what cyclists will encounter. 

Visit Museums:

The three well-known museums suggested you visit are the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, and Anne Frank House. The contrast between the books offers an almost opposing perspective on the portrayal of the Dutch culture and the arts.

Enjoy the Nightlife:

Stroll Down La Rambla:

This famous street is mostly ranked for shopping and walking around, and you can taste Spanish foods, especially tapas or churros.

This means that after having had your fair share of visiting interesting places in and around Barcelona, it will be possible for you to relax along these beaches. The evenings that I spent at Barceloneta Beach are precious to me, especially the view of the sunset.

The historical buildings, beautiful fairy-tale-like appearance, and exciting culture that Prague has to offer are some of the reasons why solo travel is recommended in this city in Europe. Berlin has the right mix of diverse cultures, history, and bohemian flair and is known for its rich nightlife, making it one of the best destinations for solo travel in Europe. Each part of the city has its perks, and therefore the diverse neighborhoods are so special.

Vienna’s majestic buildings, musical history, and delicious cafes present travelers with wonders to see and do, making Vienna one of the best places for solo travel in Europe. The city’s transportation network is reliable and secure; hence, citizens can easily move from one place to another.

Essential places to visit include Schönbrunn Palace, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, and the Hofburg Palace.

Enjoy Classical Music:

See the classic concert or opera at some of the oldest stages in Vienna. However, one of the most exciting attractions I visited was the Vienna State Opera.

Relax in Coffeehouses:

Vienna is well known for its coffee, which is consumed in large quantities in this region. Cafés I visited included the genuine Viennese coffeehouses such as Café Central, where I always took coffee and some pastries.

9. Reykjavik city, Iceland 

The easygoing people, beautiful scenery, and cultural tourism activities make Reykjavik one of the best destinations to travel for solo purposes within Europe. Going to Reykjavik is a perfect start to explore the magnificent natural sights of Iceland.

Explore the City:

Stop at the SIGUR Centrum, a venue that is built with breathtaking glass and steel and the original concrete, at Hallgrímskirkja, and go through the concept of art, history, and architecture at the National Museum of Iceland. 

Take Day Trips:
